Marking of cement and other construction materials as a tool to combat illegal trafficking

According to Russian Government Resolution No. 820 of May 31, 2025, mandatory identification marking will apply to cement and certain other construction materials in consumer packaging entering the RF market, effective October 1, 2025. This is an important measure to combat the illegal trafficking of industrial products, helping to reduce the risk of threats to the lives and health of the citizens, as well as budget losses. Mandatory marking of packaged products provides bona fide market participants with a number of advantages. The number of construction materials market participants registered in the system has surpassed 25,000.
