Degradation of reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete structures in the marine environment. Part 1. Review of empirical research
The article presents the results of an analysis of foreign review articles devoted to experimental studies of the degradation of concrete, reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete structures operated in an aggressive marine (and liquid) environment. The main elements of degradation problems have been identified using a systematic trinitarian analysis and accounting for changes in research paradigms: empirical, theoretical, computer and intellectual. Due to the large number of original publications over the past 20 years (more than 1,000 papers per year), only foreign review articles have been studied over the past 5 years in the field of concrete and reinforcement corrosion. Advanced methods and technologies for ensuring the reliability and safety of hydraulic structures throughout their life cycle during operation in the marine environment have been identified. The article will be useful when planning research in the field of reliability (durability) and destruction mechanics of concrete and reinforced concrete.
