Review and performance analysis of modern technologies for nanomodification of cement composites
This article examines the effectiveness of modern nanomodifiers in improving the properties of cement composites. It has been established that all nanoadditives act as crystallization centers, accelerating cement hydration and forming a denser microstructure by reducing porosity. Optimal dosages vary depending on the type of material. At optimal nanoadditive concentrations, compressive strength increases by up to 57 %, flexural strength by up to 43 %, water absorption decreases by up to 76 %, and adhesion between reinforcing fibers and the cement matrix improves. Nanomodification improves the strength properties of concrete while simultaneously reducing cement consumption, which contributes to a reduction in the carbon footprint of construction and the rational use of resources in the face of depleted natural reserves of high-quality raw materials.
