Degradation of reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete structures in a marine environment. Part 2. Review of theoretical studies

The article analyzes published international reviews concerning the degradation of concrete, reinforced concrete, and reinforced concrete structures used in aggressive marine environments. Particular attention is paid to reviews from the last five years regarding the corrosion of concrete and reinforcement. The first part of the article describes empirical methods for studying this phenomenon and presents data obtained through their use. The second part covers the results of theoretical studies, as well as the application of computer modeling and artificial intelligence.
