Fauji Cement Company Limited (Pakistan) has successfully commissioned its Greenfield Cement Manufacturing Plant

Cement dispatches declined by 3.96 % to 4.115 million tons in September 2023 as against 4.284 million tons during the same month of last fiscal year.

In its bid to reduce reliance on imported fuel, Lucky Cement, one of Pakistan’s largest cement manufacturers, announced the installation of an additional three renewable projects that would have a generation capacity of 37.6MW.

The cement industry witnessed a 37.04% surge in dispatches during August 2023, with total shipments reaching 4.518 million tonnes, up from 3.297 million tonnes in the same month the previous year.

The Cement sector has successfully adopted a Track and Trace System, following directives from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). This system ensures real-time monitoring of cement production to ensure accurate tax calculations.

The cement industry of Pakistan witnessed a significant growth in its sales during the month of July 2023 as compared to the same month of last year.
