Holcim acquired General Beton Romania S.R.L, a key national player in ready-mix concrete, with 2022 net sales (est.) of EUR 45 million.

Holcim has entered into an agreement to acquire Cantillana, a leading specialty building solutions provider based in Belgium with 2022 estimated net sales of EUR 80 million. Cantillana’s extensive experience in façade construction systems and external thermal insulation composite systems will further strengthen Holcim’s position in building renovation and energy efficiency solutions, building on the recent acquisitions of PRB Group in France, PTB-Compaktuna in Belgium and Izolbet in Poland.

Xelmont Ltd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya Group Bhd, has entered into a share sale and purchase agreement with Minyi Holdings Ltd to acquire the entire equity interest in Real Jade Ltd for RM224.32mil to be fully satisfied by cash.

Holcim has acquired the quarry and asphalt businesses of Mathers Group Inc. in Quebec, Canada, including Carrière St-Eustache Ltée and Pavage St-Eustache Ltée. This acquisition will expand the Holcim Group’s footprint in the dynamic Quebec market, where infrastructure investment is projected to drive high growth across the Eastern Canada region.
