Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, inspected the new gas turbine power center of Chechencement JSC, which is designed to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Chiri-Yurtov cement plant that is currently under construction.
Its capacity will be 48 MW, which will fully cover the new enterprise's needs without affecting the main regional power grid. Abdul-Khamid Baybatyrov, General Director of JSC Chechencement, informed that currently the power center is at the final stage of adjustment.
R. Kadyrov personally checked the operation of the main units and performed a black start-up of the equipment. The system works steadily and is operated by high-profile specialists.
The enterprise has established a strategic partnership with Grozny State Petroleum Technical University for specialized training of personnel involved in production. At the moment about 60 future specialists are participating in this program.
Upon completion of the construction of the new Chiri-Yurtov cement plant, this energy center will ensure full autonomy of the enterprise. This will allow it to uninterruptedly produce high-quality cement products that will be in demand not only in the Chechen Republic, but also in other regions of Russia.
