According to data for July 2026, cement production in Russia increased by 2.6 % compared with July 2025, reaching 6.4 million tonnes. Compared with June 2026, production increased by 6.1 % on a seasonal basis.
Cement consumption in July 2026 reached 6.6 million tonnes, down 0.8 % compared with July 2025, while increasing by 3.5 % compared with June 2026. According to the August 2026 estimate, cement consumption decreased by 0.3 % compared with August 2025 and showed a seasonal decline of 3.1 % compared with July 2026. In January–August 2026, cement consumption is estimated to have decreased by 7.9 % year-on-year, reaching 38.2 million tonnes.
Railway cement shipments totaled 2,309.4 thousand tonnes in August 2026, 5.4 % higher than in August 2025 and 3.2% lower than in July 2026.
According to the January–August 2026 estimate, cement imports into Russia decreased by 20.4 % compared with the same period of 2025, amounting to 2,083.4 thousand tonnes. Cement exports increased by 0.2 % year-on-year to 840.4 thousand tonnes during the period under review.
