Atomstroycomplex now supplies its construction sites with high-quality cement of its own production. The company completed construction of ATOM-Cement plant at the end of 2020, it became the 11th in its structure along with the production of wall materials, translucent structures, insulation and other building materials. Having in-house production facilities allows the company not to depend on third-party suppliers and guarantee high quality products both for its own development projects and government contracts for the construction of socially significant facilities for the region.
"We are aiming at the production of high quality cements as the most efficient ones, - declares Eduard Glyzin, the plant's director. - As of today the certificate for CEM I 42,5N cement has been received, the procedure of certification of CEM I 52,5N cement is in progress. High-quality cements are distinguished by the fact that a smaller amount of cement is required to produce one cubic meter of concrete of a given grade. This makes it possible to significantly reduce logistics costs".
"Construction of our own cement plant was an important strategic step for us to develop a closed cycle of production, which allows us to fully control the quality - after all, we are responsible for the facility after commissioning. ATOM-Cement's products are characterized by high stability, which is extremely important for a regular consumer," – explains Valery Ananiev, General Director of Atomstroycomplex, Honored Builder of Russia.
ATOM-Cement has reached its design capacity – the facility will produce 550 kt of cement per year, of which Atomstroycomplex plans to consume about 30%, and 70% will be sold on the construction market. Now the plant ships the products in cement trucks, in the near future the company intends to start shipment in big bags.
