Caribbean Cement Company Limited says it has increased production to improve the delivery of cement across the island.
In its statement, the company said it has resolved operational challenges, including those caused by adverse weather conditions in recent days.
It says it is now operating at full production capacity.
Managing director of Caribbean Cement Company Limited, Jorge Martinez, says customers can expect to see the improvements over the coming weeks.
The product has been in short supply in recent weeks, with the company’s annual maintenance schedule coinciding with Hurricane Beryl and the increased demand it put on construction inputs.
Carib Cement is Jamaica’s sole cement manufacturer.
