Dalmia Bharat Green Vision, a step down wholly-owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat, has successfully commenced commercial production of its greenfield cement grinding unit at Sattur, Tamil Nadu from 01 August, 2023.
With the commercial production of the additional capacity of 2 Mtpa., the total cement manufacturing capacity of the company stands increased to 43.7 Mtpa.
The capacity addition entailing an investment of Rs 686 crore will help to cater to the growing cement market of the southern region.
As on June 30, 2023, capacity utilization was 69 percent on pro-rata basis.
