Holcim expands its presence in the eastern region with a new distribution center in San Miguel, El Salvador

Holcim El Salvador announces the opening of its new Distribution Center in San Miguel, reinforcing its presence in the eastern part of the country and offering a more efficient solution for supplying infrastructure and construction projects in the region.

Holcim’s new Distribution Center is designed to optimize access to Holcim’s Fuerte and Maestro varieties of cement, both from the ECOPlanet range because of their lower CO2 footprint. It also seeks to improve logistics for customers, who will no longer have to travel to Metapán to obtain cement for their businesses or projects. This represents a significant savings in time and operating costs, allowing them to have the product in a more agile and efficient manner.

The new distribution center has adequate access for dredges as well as small trucks, ensuring an agile loading and dispatch process. In addition, customers will receive personalized attention from the Holcim team, guaranteeing a shopping experience tailored to their needs. The minimum available dispatch is 40 bags of cement, facilitating the planning of orders according to the requirements of each construction site.

Holcim continues to strengthen its distribution network to contribute to the development of the country, ensuring that its customers have the necessary inputs to carry out their projects with quality and efficiency.
