Holcim Romania has opened a new aggregate station in the Neudorf locality, Arad County, marking the company’s first greenfield project in the aggregates division, resulting from an investment of over 3 million euros.
This new station, which will supply aggregates to Holcim customers in the western part of the country, complements the company’s national network of aggregate stations.
The Neudorf quarry is equipped with the most modern equipment and technologies in the aggregate industry, including a new sorting and crushing station, as well as highly efficient mobile equipment in terms of consumption.
Holcim Romania currently owns five aggregate stations in its portfolio, covering the southern, central, and western regions of the country. These stations are located in Corbii Mari, Gligoresti, Stancesti, Salcioara (Stones Business Development), and Neudorf.
