KuzbassTransCement delivered about 6.5 million tons of cargo in its own fleet in 2022

KuzbassTransCement (a subsidiary of Sibcem, responsible for the operation of the holding's railway fleet) sums up the results of work in 2022. From January to December, about 6.5 million tons of various cargoes were transported in the company's own wagons. In particular, about 2.5 million tons of cement produced by the holding's plants were delivered.

Last year, the company's fleet was expanded: in accordance with the agreements concluded with Altaivagon, 500 gondola cars of model 12-2153 were purchased. Thus, KuzbassTransCement currently has 5,229 units of rolling stock at its disposal – 2,144 hopper cement trucks, 2,495 semi- and 500 covered wagons, 90 dumpcars. There are no plans to increase the number of rail transport in 2023.

The company's wagons deliver goods across the territory of Russia, the Republics of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and other states. The company's specialists are constantly developing and implementing new logistics schemes. So, in the autumn of 2022 – with the completion of the construction season – the open wagons of KuzbassTransCement began transporting coal and ore from Mongolia to China through the Erlian border crossing. Another new route is the transportation of sodium carbonate from the Crimean Peninsula to the regions of the European part of our country. In addition to the third-party goods listed above, the company actively delivers sand for the glass-blowing industry, ground gypsum and slag, and other nomenclatures.
