President Sadyr Zhaparov launched the Terek-Tash clinker plant in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the ceremony of launching the Terek-Tash clinker plant in Kemin district of Chui oblast.

At the same time, 40 industrial and 60 social facilities were inaugurated as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast with the participation of the Head of State.

In his speech, President Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that the efforts of the country's leadership to increase the budget and create economic conditions have yielded positive results.

Tax legislation has been simplified and favorable conditions for entrepreneurs have been created. These efforts have borne fruit and ensured the inflow of foreign direct investment.

“We have embarked on major projects such as the Kambar-Ata-1 hydroelectric power plant, the construction of which has been postponed for various reasons for many years, and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railroad, which provides access to the sea. These infrastructure projects will undoubtedly give a powerful impetus to the country's development,” the head of state said.

Sadyr Zhaparov reminded that as part of the implementation of the decree “On celebrating the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast”, industrial and social facilities are being launched across the country.

Production capacity of Terek-Tash LLC is 1.2 million tons of clinker per year. The volume of investments amounted to 160 million US dollars. When fully launched, 500 people will be provided with jobs.

The plant was built according to the most modern technologies. In order to comply with environmental and sanitary norms, all facilities of the production line will be provided with filter systems with pulse blowing.

Almost the entire raw material base for cement production is locally sourced.

At the end of the event, the Head of State visited the production line of the cement plant, paying special attention to the latest production technologies, and discussed with the management of the enterprise plans to increase the volume of output and the importance of the enterprise for the construction industry of the country.
