RUB 20 billion allocated for the resettlement of emergency housing and the construction of infrastructure in the regions of Russia

The Russian government has allocated 19.7 billion rubles for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing and the construction of infrastructure facilities. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, these funds were envisaged in the budget for 2022-2023, but will be sent to the subjects now. Out of the allocated funds, over 13.1 billion rubles will go to accelerated resettlement of emergency housing with an area totaling ​​417 thousand square meters in 23 regions of the country – resettling almost 26 thousand people. In addition, 3.4 billion rubles will be spent on infrastructure construction, 2.2 billion rubles to improve the stability of buildings in seismically hazardous areas of the country and around 1 billion rubles for the modernization of infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, a resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation was adopted, according to which the Russian regions will be able to receive preferential budget loans for the development of infrastructure.
