Cement consumption in Siberian Federal District in January-April 2020 amounted to 1.2 million tons (up by 2.2 % YoY), as per Siberian Cement’s report. The implementation of national infrastructure projects and federal construction programs is bound to positively affect cement consumption. However, the holding still expects a drop in consumption of 7-10 % by the end of 2020.
According to Siberian Cement’s analysts, cement consumption in 3M 2020 was up by 10 % YoY, but April saw a drop of 20 % resulting in 2,2 % growth in four months total.
All enterprises of Siberian Cement holding are ready for the 2020 construction season. The enterprises performed repairs of the primary and auxiliary equipment.
In Q1 2020, the holding’s enterprises increased production by 14 % YoY.
