SLK Cement plant near Chelyabinsk will save 12 million a year thanks to the new power complex

The new 6 MW power complex will allow the SLK Cement plant in Korkino (40 kilometers from Chelyabinsk) to save on electricity costs. The complex includes six generators of 1.375 MVA and six transformers of 1.6 MVA each, as well as a closed switchgear for 40 cells, which has no analogues yet. It allows the load to be redistributed across seven high-voltage feeders.

The project was completed on a turnkey basis, from rough sketch to commissioning. All that was needed from SLK Cement was providing a site with a gas supply and a guaranteed monthly consumption of 4.158 gigawatt / hour. Thanks to an independent energy source on its territory, the company will save about 12 million rubles a year on electricity bills.

In addition, the project in Korkino is notable for the system of a small number of service personnel. For three complexes located within 50 kilometers from each other, three service groups have been created: one is at ChTPZ, the other is in Korkino, and the third is a mobile team that will arrive in case of an accident or emergency.
