A new stretch hood machine was installed at JSC Spasskcement (part of Vostokcement Group). Modern equipment will allow to increase productivity of the line by 20-30 percent. The total cost of the reconstruction amounted to 36 million rubles.
The automated line for taring packaged cement - 50 kilogram bags - into pallets without trays has been working at the enterprise since 2012. It was decided to modernize the line and replace the shrinking machine with equipment operating on the "stretch hood" technology last year.
Dense stretch wrap effectively protects bags from mechanical and atmospheric impact, provides safe transportation, allows pallets to be stored in open areas. According to the technology, the stretch wrap is placed on top of the pallet, tightens and securely fixes the pallet and the bags in it.
