The cement terminal of CEMROS has started operating in Novocheboksarsk.
The new facility is located at the cargo berth of Cheboksary River Port and is designed to handle up to 50,000 tons of cement per year.
Supplies to the terminal will be delivered from the Sengileyevsky branch of CEMROS in the Ulyanovsk region.
River logistics will make it possible to establish direct supplies from the plant to the customer, minimize seasonal risks of road and rail transportation, and keep cement prices stable. The main recipients will be enterprises of the Chuvash Republic and the Republic of Mari El involved in major infrastructure projects.
River navigation lasts from April to October, therefore the terminal infrastructure will be undergoing test operation in the near future, and by the beginning of the next navigation season the terminal will reach full capacity.
