Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov laid a commemorative capsule for the construction of a new cement production line as part of the second stage of upgrading of the Chechencement plant. The project is expected to produce 1 million tons of cement per year.
"I believe that this project is an important step in the development of the Chechen Republic's industry, which will not only produce high-quality products, but will also create additional jobs. This in turn will contribute to improving the economic situation in the region. At the same time, the plant will open up new prospects for the development of the construction industry, as well as provide the region with additional high-quality products," Kadyrov noted.
According to Abdulhamid Baybetirov, general director of Chechencement, the project will create more than 200 jobs, and the total investment in the construction of the new plant with the adjacent infrastructure will amount to more than 20 billion rubles.
