Cement workers note that this is the highest indicator of the lining durability during the plant operation ― the maximum period in Soviet years was 70 days.
"The record we set is the result of several years of work, during which the plant selected the optimal lining scheme. We tested various refractory materials of both domestic and foreign production, and rotary kilns were transferred to ring masonry. All this made it possible to ensure longer operation of the kiln ― on a standard refractory laid in a dressing, the durability of the lining was 120 days, now we have increased this indicator by 2.5 times, - Anton Sysoev, Deputy Manager for Production and Modernization of AO Spasskcement, said. ―In addition, with this approach, we manage to avoid hot and local repairs between masonry shifts."
It turned out to achieve such results thanks to the coordinated work of all technical services of the plant, providing repair and operation of technological equipment, including liners. Their training in a new method of masonry began with the first repairs of kilns with a new method, and now all specialists are highly qualified.
"Extending the durability of the lining allows you to significantly increase the kiln utilization rate and increase the output of clinker," AO Spasskcement reported.
