The Schurovsky Cement Plant started to publish data on ambient air quality

Measurements of air quality, suspended substances, nitrogen dioxide and hydrogen sulfide are taken in different parts of Kolomna during the day and at night. Ambient temperature and humidity are included in the monitoring, and the results can be compared with the maximum permissible concentrations of substances in the atmospheric air.

"We give priority to environmental issues: the delivery of raw materials from the quarry is carried out by a sealed belt conveyor, and 118 dedusting units are in continuous operation. The proposal to publish the results of ambient air quality measurements in the media was made by the members of the Public Council at the first meeting, and LafargeHolsim supported this initiative," said Artur Buziurov, chairman of the Public Council and technical director of LafargeHolsim in Russia.

Results of these measurements have been available on the LafargeHolsim website since June 7. Air quality data is updated regularly.
