Between January and September, Timlyui-Cement LLC (a subsidiary of Sibcem HC JSC) produced 360 thousand tons of cement, 11% more than in the first three quarters of 2023. 365 thousand tons were shipped to consumers, which is 11.5% more than in the first nine months of 2023.
The growth in production and sales volumes is due to the increased capacity of cement markets in the Republic of Buryatia and Trans-Baikal Territory. Consumption of construction materials produced by the plant is increasing primarily due to the launch of state-owned infrastructure projects and housing construction.
The company offers consumers six general construction and two special types of cement. The main sales markets are the Republic of Buryatia and Trans-Baikal Territory.
The company continues to expand and upgrade its vehicle fleet. In 2024, more than 68 million rubles (including leasing contracts), with VAT included, will be allocated for the purchase of special-purpose vehicles. Since the beginning of the year, Timlyui Cement Plant has received a new dump truck, a heavy bulldozer and a front loader. The equipment is used in the development of the Tarakanovskoye quarry. By the end of the year a truck tower is expected to join the fleet.
This year Timlyui-Cement continues production upgrading. In total, 550 million rubles including VAT is planned to be invested in the re-equipment of the enterprise - 2.6 times more than in 2023.
Among the large-scale investment projects to be implemented at Timlyui-Cement LLC in 2024 is a comprehensive project to increase production capacity. In April 2025, the rotary kiln No. 2 is planned to be put into operation after a long downtime. Restoration work will begin in August 2024. In order to provide the required volume of sludge for the operation of three rotary kilns and then produce cement from the resulting clinker, grinding capacity needs to be increased. Raw mill No. 3 was put into operation in June 2024 after a large-scale modernization. The increase in the diameter of the unit allowed to improve its productivity by 1.8 times - from 28 to 50 tons of sludge per hour. Similar works were initiated at raw mill No. 4. At the same time, raw mill No. 5 was switched to cement grinding. The works started in June this year. Cement mill No. 5 will be put into operation in October 2024. The installation of a separator at cement mills No. 5 and No. 10 will complete the large-scale complex construction project in 2026. The transition to a close-cycle cycle will increase the production of finely ground high quality cement, the demand for which is growing every year.
Timlyui Cement Plant timely implements a program of scheduled repairs and equipment maintenance. It is planned to invest RUB 841 million for these purposes in 2024. In particular, the company has carried out repairs of raw material and cement mills, rotary kilns No. 1 and No. 3, grab overhead cranes, electric excavators and other assets.
