Topkinsk Cement LLC (a subsidiary of Sibcem Holding Company JSC) has completed preparations for the 2024 construction season: maintenance and scheduled repairs of equipment, buildings and structures were carried out in production units.
For example, the second line equipment was repaired at the Crushing Shop: jaw and hammer crushers, grate feeder, feeder hopper (with replacement of metal walls).
In the Raw Materials Shop at mills No. 1, 3 and 5, specialists renewed the internal mill armor lining, carried out repair and renewal work on the disc feeders, oil stations, feed leaks, main and auxiliary drive gearboxes of the mills. As part of the five-year program to upgrade the gearbox fleet, a new main drive gearbox was installed at Raw Mill No. 4. In the " Hydrofol " department, the self-crushing mill No. 1 was repaired with complete replacement of the armored lining and the grinding mill No. 2 with replacement of the armored lining of the second chamber.
Planned maintenance actions were also carried out in the Kiln Shop. In particular, at rotary kilns No. 3, 4 and 5 the service contractors renewed lining, repaired chain zones and coolers, carried out revision of roller supports and aspiration units. At rotary kiln No. 4, the crown was turned over to increase the utilization period of one of the largest components of the kiln unit. The rollers on the seventh support of furnaces No. 3 and No. 4 were also replaced, and nine meters of the casing and subband shell were renewed on the third furnace unit.
Installation of a modern, efficient electrostatic precipitator continues at rotary kiln No. 2. The project will allow the plant to meet the most demanding modern requirements for reduction of emissions and negative environmental impact.
In the "Grinding" shop, attention was first of all paid to the condition of cement mills No. 1, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Along with routine measures, the specialists carried out scheduled partial replacement of cement mill casings. Necessary rehabilitation works were carried out on weighing and belt dosing machines, oil stations, feeding leaks, aspiration systems, pneumatic chamber pumps, main and auxiliary drive gearboxes. The separator used for production of high quality cements was also repaired.
The fleet of special-purpose vehicles continues to be upgraded. Topkinskiy Cement Plant received two new tractors with tank semitrailers designed to deliver products to construction sites in the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
Moreover, two passenger buses were added to the motor transport division of the enterprise. They are used for transportation to work of Topkinskiy Cement LLC employees living in rural areas.
