Topkinsky Cement (subsidiary of Sibcem) commissioned a new excavator worth 74.5 million rubles.
This modern machine is equipped with a 554 hp diesel engine, a 6.2 cubic meter bucket and a video surveillance system that provides an overview of blind spots, with information displayed on a monitor in the driver's cab.
The assembly of equipment was carried out at the "Gorny" workshop, the installation supervision was carried out by representatives of the supplier company. The machine can easily navigate through the quarry due to its mobility and multi-functionality.
“An additional machine was purchased due to increase in overburden volume. The current year's plan is 1.5 million tons (for comparison, the actual figure for 2020 is 459 thousand tons). Also, experts of the Gorny workshop will soon start working on a new horizon,” explains Alexey Ospelnikov, Managing Director of Topkinsky Cement LLC. - As of today, the mining machinery park has two diesel and three electric excavators. This is enough to fully meet the company's needs for raw materials required for stable cement production."
