Topkinsky Cement Plant sums up the results of the construction season-2021

In the period from January to November, the company produced 2,076 million tons and sold 2,077 million tons of cement – 5% more than in 11 months of 2020.

The increase in production volumes is due to the gradual restoration of the capacity of the cement market in Siberia (including the Republic of Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory): according to the results of 10 months of this year, it increased by 14% compared to the same period in 2020.

About 70% of the plant's output is sent to the construction sites of the Siberian Federal District. The company also supplies products for export: for 11 months of this year, about 4 thousand tons were sent to Azerbaijan, and slightly more than 137 thousand tons of cement were sent to Kazakhstan.

The assortment of Topkinsky Cement includes nine general construction and six special types of cement. The novelty of this year is Portland cement CEM I 42.5N DP. It is used in transport construction for the production of concrete for road and airfield coverings, and is also used in the manufacture of reinforced concrete pressure and non-pressure pipes, sleepers, bridge structures, racks of high-voltage power lines, the contact network of railway transport. Recall that in 2020, the plant mastered the production of cement intended for the manufacture of concrete foundations of highways (CEM II/A-Sh 32.5R TO GOST 33174-2014). Certification of another "road" building material allowed to attract new customers, expand the geography of supplies.

The most popular type of cement is still Portland cement CEM I 42.5B, the demand for it continues to grow. In the period from January to November, the company produced 1,223 million tons of such products – 59% of the total volume of grinding. Last year, this figure was 50%, in 2019 - 44.2%.

The high quality of Topkinsky Cement has been repeatedly confirmed by independent industry experts: every year the plant's products are included in the line of "100 best goods of Russia". This year the company was awarded the title of the winner of the competition for the production of general-construction Portland cement CEM III/A 42.5N and special PCT I-G-CC-1. The first is among the most popular types of products of LLC Topkinsky Cement, used for the manufacture of concrete and mortar of any class. Grouting Portland cement PCT I-G-CC-1, the production technology of which the plant mastered in 2018, is used for fixing deep oil and gas wells in conditions of elevated temperatures and pressure.

The products of Topkinsky Cement are shipped in bulk and in bags. For 11 months of this year, 1.263 million tons of bulk cement were sent to consumers. About 815 thousand more were sold in bags - big bags of 1000 kg and paper bags of 25 and 50 kg. At the same time, 1.493 million tons of cement were delivered to customers by rail (72% of the total sales volume), about 154 thousand (8%) were transported by the company's own machines.

The sales volume of cement on pallets has significantly increased: in total, from January to November, 50% more was shipped compared to the same period last year. Note that in 2020, the increase was 32% compared to the level of 2019.

Due to the high demand for this type of packaging this year, a new complex designed for palletizing and packaging bags of cement in stretch film has been installed in the shop "Finished products" of the Topkinsky Cement. The equipment operates completely in automatic mode and allows you to produce up to 80 pallets per hour.

To ensure the uninterrupted operation of the main and auxiliary technological equipment, scheduled repairs were carried out in all departments in a timely manner. The largest works were carried out in the Raw Materials workshop: at mills No. 4, 5 and 7, the armor lining, grinding bodies were updated, oil systems, gearboxes, disc feeders were audited. In the Mill shop, along with standard measures, specialists equipped mill units No. 1-4 with water injection systems into the second chamber. Thanks to this, their productivity increased by an average of 7 tons per hour. In "Roasting", special attention was paid to rotating kilns No. 1 and 2: the main drive and chain zone were repaired on each unit, the housing was restored, bandages were repackaged, worn sections of lining were replaced, grates on the hot grill of refrigerators were replaced, other types of repair work were performed.

In general, it is planned to allocate more than 796 million rubles for the technical re-equipment of the plant in 2021, in 2020 the same figure was 230 million rubles.

Among the largest investment projects implemented at the Topkinsky Cement of the SibCem Holding is the modernization of the kiln No. 1. In order to improve the environmental safety of production, a new Swiss-made electrofilter has been installed on the kiln unit. The equipment will allow the company to ensure the stable functioning of the exhaust gas cleaning system, significantly reduce the amount of inorganic dust emissions with a silicon dioxide content below 20% - this indicator will be reduced by 89.16% per year
.
In total, about 365 million rubles were allocated for the purchase and installation of the Elex electric filter in 2019-2021. In the future, we plan to implement a similar project on the rotary kiln No. 2.

The company's fleet of special equipment is being systematically updated. The fleet of the "Finished Products" workshop has been replenished with a new battery-powered forklift. For operation in the quarry, a truck with a lifting capacity of 55 tons, a bulldozer and an excavator were purchased.

This year Topkinsky Cement has joined the national project "Labor Productivity". According to preliminary data, the total economic effect of the lean technologies implementation at the plant will be about 25 million rubles a year.
