Cement clinker production by agglomeration
Specifics of layered cement clinker burning as an alternative to the dry method of production are analyzed. The reasons for the removal of this method from the practice of cement production are discussed, related problems identified and solutions proposed. It is shown that sintering offers a unique intensity of heat exchange processes, which can be instrumental in practical application of the theory of fast clinker burning by “thermal shock”. The prospects for the implementation and effective use of this technology are considered.Author: V.M. Ufimtsev, V.A. Pyachev |
