Heat transfer experimental research with forced air filtration through clinker granules layer

An experimental setup for studying the processes of heat exchange in the layer of the clinker grains with forced air filtration system is defined allowing to study heat transfer between the granular material and air at high temperatures and characterized by a low loss of heat and air through the installation’s walls. Criterial dependence for heat transfer with forced air filtering through the filling of clinker grains, taking into account special features of the processes in grid-iron clinker refrigerator is obtained as a result of experimental researches. The area of the most intense heat transfer in forced air filtering through the filling of hot clinker grains is defined.
