High frost resistance concretes for road construction
Rapid destruction of pavement concretes is due to a combination of mechanical and environmental impacts, exacerbated by the use of defrosting agents. Freeze-thaw resistance of concrete in aqueous solutions of defrosters is dependent not only on the parameters of porosity, but also on modification of the cement stone structure, ensuring that gelatinous calcium hydrosilicates are predominant and portlandite content is limited.Author: B.Ya.
