Modernisation of the gas purification unit of a slag drier drum at OAO Yug-Cement

The article describes reconstruction of a slag drier involving the installation of new gas purification equipment. This is a bag filter with pulsed regeneration of filter sleeves with compressed air and a semi-open cycle system that prevent partial return of purified gas to the drier. The new bag filter provided for a pollutant emission level below 10 mg/nm3.
