Prevention of emergencies by supplying inert gases CO2/N2

The article considers the design and operating principle of Yara Company emergency systems that provide an inert medium for preventing explosion- and fire-hazardous situations. Use is made of four basic models with high- and low-pressure CO2 tanks and of a system with cylinders. Examples are provided of using emergency systems at cement plants in Russia, Azerbaijan, Moldavia and Kenya.
