Cement sector in Poland

The article reviews the development of the cement industry of Poland from the time the first kilns were installed until the present time. It describes the changes in the cement industry structure in connection with its privatisation, and also provides the technical and economic indicators of cement operations. Examples are given of the cement plant reconstruction projects involving the introduction of new technology and advanced equipment.
