Solid fuel in the manufacture of Russian cement

The article presents a review of the types of fuel intended for cement production. It is noted that the use of coal ensure minimum expenses connected with salvaging of ash. It reveals the possibilities of using the coal of local deposits. Also recommended is the use of petcoke use – the residue of thermal decomposition of fuel oil, except for scarce and expensive low-sulphur petcokes.
