Slags and their applications in the building sector

The article analyzes the conditions of manufacture and use of metallurgical slags in the building sector. It provides technical and physico-chemical characteristics of slags, as well as volumes of their production and utilization. Ways of effective utilisation of slags in EU and Russia are considered.
