Feasibility of investments into modernization and upgrading

The article deals with an automation modernization project at the cement plant of Jura Cement Company, Switzerland performed by ABB. Realization of the project allowed improving control of the production process, increasing the plant productivity and output, as well as the efficiency of using alternative fuels.
