Production of mechanically and chemically activated cements (binding agents) of low water demand

The article gives the results of the commercial tests on the production of mechanically and chemically activated cements of low water demand at a highcapacity grinding line rated at 50 t/hr at the Shinkhua cement plant, Dzhedzyan province, PRC.
It shows the possibility of producing low-clinker cements with mineral additives, containing 33–40% clinker and of 32,5–42,5 class of cements. Realization of the new technology can cut the specific fuel and power consumption rates, improve the quality and increase the volumes of cement production with minimum capital investments.
