Iranian cement industry. Toward 100 million tons capacity

The article examines the history and today’s situation of the Iranian cement industry and cement market.
The country demonstrates high growth rates of cement production and consumption. Projects are in progress involving vigorous construction of new and reconstruction of the existing production facilities.
Most cement plants are owned and managed by representatives of the state sector.
