China’s cement market: what to expect in 2009

The article analyses the prospects of the Chinese cement market for the period up to 2010. It assesses the role of development of the housing construction, the country’s investment climate and other factors. It states the possibility of a considerable excess of cement industry capacities in China, which could become one of the reasons for stopping the growth of the world prices for cement.
