Cement production in Russia. Whither to go?

The article analyses the status Russia’s cement industry prospects of its development. It is shown that, in order to meet the target volumes of residential, automobile and railway construction, an annual increase of 6–7 Mt in the cement output is required.
In order to increase cement production at low capital investments, the author suggests setting up production of low water-requirement cement that is characterised by its high construction-technical parameters.
