Final Properties of Building Chemistry Materials according to their Calcium Aluminate Content

The technical advantages of materials based on Ternal® White rich binders in comparison with Portland cement based binders are considered in present paper. Performance is explained in relation with the chemical composition, the nature of the hydrates and the microstructure. The conclusions may be applied to all materials made according to the same binder compositions.
