Manufacture and cement shortage areas in Russia in 2005–2010

On the basis of a large array of statistical material a comprehensive analysis was pertormed of the production and economic results of the Russian cement industry operations in 2005 and in the first year of 2006. Demonstrated were the results of operation of kilns, seasonal fluctuations, quality and types of products. Converted to 1 tonne of cement the average consumption of standard fuel was 207,4 kg electric power consumption was 120.2 kWh, where the average transportation radius was 510 km. The share of brand 500 products is on the increase, while the share of additives is already below 10%.
