European cement markets: main challenges & trends

Against the background of description of the world cement industry, the cement market and its evolution in the European Union, in some of its countries and behaviour of the largest players in this market are analysed in detail. The pricing policies in some countries are considered and the importance of consolidation and vertical integration for its competent realization is shown. It also offers a forecast for the EU consolidation processes in the near future.
