HOROMILL® technology: twenty years of mill operation in different countries.

In 1993, Fives FCB (France) introduced a new HOROMILL® technology - a grinding plant with a record low power consumption. Over 20 years of operation the total service time of HOROMILL® mills for grinding cement and raw mix has amounted to more than 1.5 million hours. 54 HOROMILL® mills are in operation in the world, including cement factories of large companies such as Buzzi Unicem, Cemex, Holcim, Lafarge, Vicat, etc. The paper describes the design features and technological advantages of the HOROMILL® mill.
