Hybrid spinel technology improves basic refractory characteristics for cement kilns.

This article shows that adding elasticity to magnesia brick is not only important for lining mechanically loaded parts, but also imperative in the case of a chemical load caused by infiltration of alkaline salts. The new approach based on hybrid spinel technology is used in series Q bricks, like ANKRAL QF, ANKRAL Q1, ANKRAL Q2 and ANKRAL QE. The RHI company offers materials of ANKRAL Q series with outstanding thermomechanical performance, even if the structure consolidates due to accumulation of salts of alkali metals.
