The article examines the factors of aggressive action on refractory lining if alternative fuels are used. The basic approach to the development of unshaped refractory materials for the cement industry and a concept of their use in aggressive environments are described. A new product line of Hӧganӓs brand is introduced and recommendations on its use in specific areas of the cement production line are given.
