Interview with Reinhold Wilhelm Festge, President of VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen­ und Anlagenbau)

Dr. Reinhold Wilhelm Festge, President of the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau) and head of Haver & Boecker machine manufacturing company, visited Russia at the end of May.
The VDMA association was founded in 1892 and represents the overwhelming part of all the machine building companies in Germany. VDMA has a representative office in Moscow. Many of VDMA’s members are major partners for the building materials sector in Russia as well as in other FSU countries.
During his visit, Dr. Festge gave an interview to Liudmila German, General Director of Journal Cement Ltd, in which he spoke about the current status of the cooperation between German machine manufacturers and Russia`s cement industry and about the prospects of its development.
