The cement in dustry in Austria

The article offers information about the history of cement production in Austria, the country`s cement factories, production, consumption, export and import of cement. Cement is produced by the “dry” and “semi-dry” technologies. Much attention in its production is paid to environmental protection. In 2014, 75.5% of the demand of the cement industry in heat was covered using alternative fuels.
