Development of Celitement technology

The paper describes the properties and the basics of the new technology of binding materials, collectively known as “Celitement”, developed by Celitement GmbH (its main shareholder is Schwenk Zement KG) in collaboration with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. Information about the development of Celitement production is provided. Many of the associated problems were solved in the preliminary laboratory studies and the subsequent operation of the pilot plant for Celitement production of 100-200 kg/day capacity.
