Rapid and quick-hardening mixed binders based on Portland, aluminate and sulfoaluminate cements
The properties of cementing compositions where calcium aluminates were mixed in as the following products: calcium aluminate cement (containing 40% of Al2O3), calcium sulfoaluminate cements of ye`elimite and belite types, as well as amorphous calcium aluminate. The latter as an additive in Portland showed the greatest effect of accelerating setting and early strength development.Author: L.C. Van Nes Blessing |
